Claire Aguiar

Claire Aguiar is a PhD student in the Center for Educational Informatics at North Carolina State University.  Claire’s current research involves designing game-based approaches to increase AI literacy in K-12 students. She enjoys approaching problems with creative solutions that emphasize fun and effective learning. Claire has been interested in game development since before she started college, and had the opportunity to work with a new company as a game programmer and designer before starting her PhD program.

Claire joined the Center for Educational Informatics in 2024.  She is excited to continue the amazing work done by the group while supporting its research goals, and to pursue the intersection of narrative generation and AI-driven environments.
