Marley Cornettte Cook is a PhD student and research assistant in the Center for Educational Informatics at North Carolina State University. Marley’s current research involves using LLM’s for narrative generation, manipulation, and planning within the context of educational games. He likes discovering the limits of generative engines, and applying them in useful contexts.
Before pursuing a PhD in computer science, Marley was a research engineer on the emerging technology branch of Infosys. He worked on developing virtual reality environments for corporate metaverse integrations, blockchain based supply chain software, customer support chat bots, and a pdf generation program.
Marley joined the EngageAI institute team in 2023. He is excited to work with an amazing team on AI-Enabled narrative generation techniques for education.
